Weather Update 4/28/20

Memphis NWS: Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible tonight and into early Wednesday morning across the Mid-South. Damaging winds will be the main threat. Strong northwest winds are possible Wednesday behind a cold front. Winds gusts could exceed 30 mph at times.

OPINION: Look for rain to move into Lafayette County around midnight tonight. Winds will be around 10-15 mph into the night tonight and pretty much all day tomorrow with random gusts above that. It wouldn’t hurt to secure any loose outdoor items before bed. I don’t foresee us being under any warnings overnight, but the possibility is there.
